Establishment of Micro Food Processing Units
- Under Capex Budget, a Scheme “Establishment of Micro Food
Processing Units” introduced for employment generation of the
Cooperative Societies. This employment generation scheme for
cooperative societies aims to create job opportunities and strengthen the
sector.
- With a total estimated cost of Rs. 800.00 lakh, the scheme will cover
80 cooperative societies. To date, 38 Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) have
been approved, with an estimated cost of Rs. 320.30 lakh. The products
made in these FPUs will also be sold at Cooperative Super Bazaars and
Mini Super Bazaars, which will allocate dedicated space for these items.
This initiative not only fosters employment but also promotes the sale of
locally produced goods, supporting economic growth within the
cooperative sector
